Equal parts clown, guided meditation, and experimental theater, Camirin Farmer's 'How Can I Keep From Singing?' uses performance and musical elements to help the audience check in with themselves and their systems.

With chopped & screwed music, and sounds of the Los Angeles cityspace adding to the atmosphere, Camirin Farmer enters through the audience, and greets individual audience members with their own specific style of clown. Once settled, Camirin leads the audience in some slow breathing, and centering before heading to their main communication device: a blank white board. After some banter Camirin leads the audience in a sound bowl meditation, and then back to some white board banter. Following this is a group stretch and movement, surrounded by clown & exchange. We arrive at our last white board one on one exchange, before ending the show with a cathartic musical performance aimed at soothing and energizing the space, before Camirin finally exits the space, and leaves the audience.
