Join us for an interactive session across disciplines on Monday, September 19th from 3:00-6:00pm (EDT).While an abundance of information is produced by weather and climate institutions, only a very limited amount reaches humanitarian practitioners – even in humanitarian contexts where climate plays a central role.Climate scientists and humanitarian practitioners will reflect on the respective challenges they face regarding the use of climate data inviting a conversation on how climate scientists could better support humanitarian action.Speakers include:Andrew Kruczkiewicz – Senior staff researcher, Columbia University Climate SchoolAbdel-Lathif Younous – Climate scientist, World Food ProgramFaith Toran – Fundraising and communications coordinator, Climate Smart MSFLéo Tremblay – Project manager, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) MACA - Met &amp; Climate Assistance Program
