About this event

With the leadership of tenants, GBIO came together over the past year in Boston and in Brookline to improve safety and liveability in some of our long-neglected state-owned public housing. We have learned that the need is state-wide, that there is much more to do, and that the time is now.

The Teach-In will offer you, along with friends from Sinai Brookline and Temple Beth Zion, the opportunity

• To voice your concerns with housing affordability and your appetite for justice in the public housing arena

• To hear from a GBIO tenant leader about living in public housing and working through GBIO to make improvements and from a GBIO housing ally about the impact and possibilities of working together for change

• To learn what’s needed, what the political opportunity is, and how you can help determine the action
