About this event

The SFD fire should be our “bread and butter” response where we perform flawlessly. If we can’t operate effectively at a SFD fire, then more complex fires could be disastrous for our departments.

This workshop is presented by Richard Ray, Battalion Chief with Durham NC Fire Department and a volunteer with Creedmoor NC Volunteer Fire Department. He is  an annual presenter at the Virginia Fire Chiefs Association Conferences and Symposiums.  Richard specializes in being able to relate to rural volunteer fire departments and the challenges that we face.

It is paid for and sponsored by  Nottoway County Emergency  Services and we hope to be the first  of many classes sponsored by Nottoway.
