Bobby Jo Valentine is a nationally touring singer/songwriter who grew up fundamental Baptist on the windy seaside of Northern California. He came out at 23, started over, and found himself, chosen family, and a bigger way of believing - all through poetry and songwriting. His songs are both grounded and mystical, and speak of the gentle, profound, everyday awakenings of an openhearted life.

Bobby has been awarded Song of the Year five times by the West Coast Songwriter's Association, and has created a growing community of listeners and supporters with live shows full of music and storytelling that is compelling and poetic. His most recent collections, Maybe Stars and Temporary Weather, are available everywhere online, and he's currently working on his first book of poems and stories.
