Our summers may be hot and humid, but you can still have a productive and attractive edible garden if you know the right things to grow. There are a lot of vegetables that thrive in our subtropical summer. Some you already know. Others from around the world may be unfamiliar now, but will soon make their way onto your menu of favorites. Join East Hill Edible Gardening to learn about an array of interesting and unusual vegetables that you can grow during the hottest part of the year.

Register by midnight on Friday, June14th and get this class for only $30 - after that the class is $35.

Who is this class for?

This class is for both beginners and advanced gardeners who want to control pests in the garden organically. Also good for those gardeners who are new to gardening along the Gulf Coast regardless of their gardening experience.

Who is East Hill Edible Gardening?

East Hill Edible Gardening started in 2014 and is owned by Renee Perry and Tom Garner. We have since taught over 750 students how to garden! In addition to teaching classes, we also sell vegetable and herb plants at the Palafox Market. Follow us (FB, Instagram) for our current schedule.

Will you have plants for sale at this event?

Yes! We'll have a little time both before the class and after to sell a selection of our plants. After setting up we have maybe15 minutes before class to sell plants. We will also have perhaps another 15 minutes after class before we need to clean up. We accept cash, cards, and Apple Pay.

Where is this class held?

This class is held in the Ever'man Educational Center which is next to Ever'man Co-operative Grocery store in downtown Pensacola. The address on online maps may not be correct. If you do a search for 327 W. Garden St. that will take you to the right building.
