Known primarily for the nation’s longest running independent comedy show (The Lincoln Lodge) we also produce special events, help others organizations to raise money with comedy events and offer classes (Feminine Comique and Stand-Up Seminary) to encourage more community participation in stand-up comedy.  We have been very successful at nurturing local talent and can point to a long line of alumni like Hannibal Burress, Kyle Kinane, T.J. Miller, Pete Holmes and Cameron Esposito who all got their start at The Lodge. Our reputation for professionalism, talent and integrity means organizations such as Just for Laughs and Comedy Central have invited us to collaborate with them.

Hot Dish! is a comedy, cooking, interview show that dishes up hot goss and hot food, with little skill, but a lot of laughs!

Hot Dish! is a comedy cooking interview show that dishes up hot goss and hot food with little skill, but a lot of heart. Comedians Lauren Hooberman and Colleen Brennan will [charmingly] force comedian Gwen La Roka to cook up something hot, experimental and potentially tasty. While the food is cooking (yes, real food!), there will be a high-stakes trivia challenge.You may win a prize. It might be amazing or it might be disposable underwear! And, at the end of the show, everyone will be able to try the food. Hot Dish! promises to fully entertain, bringing people together for laughter and food.Gwen has worked with some of today's funniest comedians like Gina Yashere, Felipe Esparza, Aida Rodriguez, and Finesse Mitchell, as well as legendary Paul Rodriguez and George Wallace!Gwen has written and directed her own one woman show titled Mi Casa Es Tu Casa. Winner of the '21 NY Latino Film Festival Latino Stand Up Comedy Competition, she is now the first Latina from Chicago to make her comedy special debut on HBO Max.
