Backpack Buddies mission is to send kids who rely on the free breakfast and lunch at school, home from school on Fridays with kid-friendly, easy to prepare food for the weekend so they can start school on Monday nourished and ready to learn.

GET TICKETS AT DOOR! Lynden's first-ever Hops Down Front Street - Beer Walk is happening on Aug 1 to benefit Backpack Buddies of Lynden.

GET TICKETS AT DOOR at 5:30 PM (The Mill Inn or Mane Styles)! The first Lynden Beer Walk down Front Street is happening on August 1st. This event is executed by Backpack Buddies with the support of the Lynden Downtown Business Association. All proceeds raised from the event go to Backpack Buddies.Each participant will receive a commemorative 5-ounce glass, 5 tasting tickets, and a goodie bag. 10 businesses along Front Street will have tasting spots with 2 craft beer options at each stop. Additional tasting tickets will be available for purchase. Join us for this first annual event in Lynden for a good cause!Following the beer walk, don't forget to join Overflow Taps for the Hops Down Front Street After Party in the FREE Beer Garden including live music, a 50/50 raffle supporting BackPack Buddies of Lynden, and Something Cheesy Food Truck.Check in at The Mill Inn or Mane Styles (both located on Front Street). Your ID is required for this event and must be carried during the whole event! Cheers.
