How can we find hope in trying times, and take action to save our planet? To learn more, join our Hope Meetup, a special Zoom event hosted by <a href="https://greenchange.net/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Green Change</a> on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 6pm Pacific Time, when we will discuss how to solve climate change.Our keynote speaker is science-fiction writer <a href="https://www.kimstanleyrobinson.info/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kim Stanley Robinson</a>, author of the acclaimed “<a href="https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/kim-stanley-robinson/the-ministry-for-the-future/9780316300162/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ministry for the Future</a>” novel about how we could solve climate change in just a few decades. Stan will talk about the importance of hope for protecting our future, and how each of us can make a difference by taking climate action.Our guest speakers include climate activist <a href="https://www.climatehope.us/team" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Alma Soongi Beck</a>, who will talk about how she inspires joyful action to end the climate crisis in her work at <a href="https://www.climatehope.us/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ClimateHope.us</a>-- and youth organizer <a href="https://youthactionthroughart.org/the-future-we-create" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Harita Kalvai</a>, who will tell us how she engages fellow students to create a more sustainable world with <a href="https://www.thesel.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a><a href="https://youthactionthroughart.org/the-future-we-create" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Youth Action Through Art</a>.
