Hope for the Journey is a four-part module conference focused on encouraging parents and caretakers of children in foster care or adoption.
Led by professionals, adoptee alumni, practitioners, and adoptive parents Hope for the Journey is an educational and uplifting conference that will allow parents and caretakers to grow in their skills and knowledge of trauma for empowering, correcting, and connecting. This conference will focus on the whole child method and provide key insight into attachment styles, sensory processing, and the effects of trauma on the brain. Certificates will be given to those who complete the training.
This training will be streamed and divided into two-hour increments for modules. Participants will be required to complete all four days to graduate from the program.
TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.
