HopBeat Hollywood is a public art project created by artist Stephanie Cunningham. It takes place in the Hollywood Arts Park at Young Circle until June 1, 2024. The park is open from 7 am-10 pm daily. The patterns can be found in the northeast quadrant of the park.
HopBeat wants you to move. “Hop” refers to 10 visual patterns inspired by international games of hopscotch and a South Florida color palette. “Beat” references the music of 10 local musicians/bands associated with each visual. The music is accessed on the HopBeat website,
hopbeathollywood.com. The music encourages viewers to discover songs that resonate with them and support the musicians who live here. Children and adults, alone or in groups, can hop to the beat.
Musicians include Tom Alexander, Wayne Armond, Brazilian Voices, Criscas, Christina Cuba, Brina Fenelon, Sarah McCulloch, Osceola Brothers, Salva, Douglas Quarteze.

The site is accessible. Limited parking is available in the circle. 3-hour free parking in the lot between the traffic circle and Walgreens. Metered street parking in the area. Parking garages at Polk and 19th Ave & Van Buren and 20th Ave.
