This is a First Annual Fundraiser to help me, Petra, create another years worth of magazines! Printing over 1,000+ copies of each magazine every three months costs a lot upfront and storing them in my three bedroom house is a big job as well; especially with maintaining my personal creative space for all the art I create.
Recently, I have been able to start paying people to feature their patterns. That was a big step for me/the magazine and for the artists! My next goal is to reach out to gardeners about writing articles for the magazine as well. I have written the majority, and my family pitches in as well! I would love for the community of fans who read the magazine to have different garden gurus to listen to besides wild me, AND it will create just a few more jobs!
Following this event, I believe that goal can be met. So THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
My goal this year is to see if having my own studio space where I do the magazine and my art separate from my home is possible.
As far as ultimate goals, the sky is the limit! I want to keep creating, learning, meeting people as many as possible. I want others to be inspired to create and feel like they have a safe place to do so! I want artists to be paid for their work along with gardeners and others who create as well.
I believe sharing this magazine really does make a difference. It's not just to shock people and be goofy. I think it sends a strong message of equality, inclusiveness, and shows talent of all kinds. If I keep building the brand this can be something truly special that helps a lot of people, art, and nature!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME and SUPPORT!!
