Hook & Loop 

Cedric Tai is a Los Angeles-based artist from Detroit. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Kresge Visual Arts Fellowship, a Knight Foundation Arts Challenge Award and a Vermont Studio Center Fellowship. He is represented by Simone DeSousa Gallery. His exhibitions and publications include Kumasi J. Barnett/Cedric Tai, Roy G Biv, Columbus, OH (2008), Concept Structure Torture Survival Title, New City Space, Glasgow (2011), Quantified Self, Gallery Projects, Ann Arbor, MI (2012), Indirectly Yours, Intermedia, CCA, Glasgow (2013), We Need More ________!, Re:View Contemporary (2014), and Amateur Strategies, Kerckhoff Gallery, UCLA (2015).Rachel Yezbick is a Los Angeles based performance, video and installation artist. Rachel Yezbick and Cedric Tai

Cedric Tai and Rachel Yezbick invite you to Mast on Fig for a feedback session on an installation in progress featuring performers in head to toe Velcro suits and masks and a tactiile environment. This is a physical performance work for audience members that wish to participate in the piece. (Yes, it is interactive!) Donations and comment cards are welcome.
The performance is approximately 20 minutes long for 16 people maximum. Only 8 people will be able to participate in the work at one time.
