Hometown All-Star Showcase
Get ready to immerse yourself in the sounds of talented jazz musicians and experience a blend of the world's top smooth jazz artists mixed with young talent in the genre. The second annual Hometown All-Stars Showcase will allow jazz musicians, regardless of sub-genre, to compete for $1,000, the coveted title of Fresh Coast Jazz Festival Hometown All-Star, a commemorative trophy, tickets to the festival and to earn an opportunity to perform at the Fresh Coast Jazz Festival on Saturday August 24 at 5pm.
Five musicians will be invited to perform a 20-minute set in front of an audience and three judges on Friday June 28 beginning at 6 p.m. at Nō Studios in Milwaukee. The winner will be announced on June 28 after the performances.
Festival proceeds go to support scholarships, school music programs, and healthcare initiatives. Don't miss out on this opportunity to experience the magic of live jazz in person!
How to Submit:
Interested artists and groups should submit their electronic press kits featuring performances of at least two songs HERE no later than Friday, May 10, 2024. Initial submissions will be reviewed by representatives from Fresh Coast Jazz Festival, Podcast Town, and Nō Studios.
