Experience what growing up in an OCD group home feels like, in this heartfelt dance theatre show, produced by NYU students/alumni!

HOMESICK is an original dansical that tells the story of 6 young-adolescents, growing up in a group home together, while grappling with their OCD diagnosis. As a new patient gets admitted to the facility, the group dynamic shifts and the youngsters explore… well, everything that feels forbidden, as every teenager does, being forced to face their fears together.

This show includes original choreography, songs, house music, and recordings from actual OCD folks who I (director) went to a group home with at the age of 15. Written and directed by Soraya Omtzigt with original music by [BORDERS], Audrey Richards and Soraya Omtzigt.

Dive into the Deep Blue Sea of Adulthood with these youngsters, as they learn to cope with their feelings, intrusions, and nagging compulsions in this funny, heartfelt and beautiful dance theatre show.
