My child has zero prior coding experience. Is this class a good fit?

Yes!  Many of our students have never experienced coding before and are just getting started.

Do you have to bring anything to class like a computer?

Accepted Answer

No.  We provide the computers and all technology necessary for the class.

My child has no prior experience with coding so how do I know if my child will enjoy this class?

So many children love to play video games. We teach coding in a fun way that teaches children coding through creating their own games.  It is a great way to have your child learn a new skill that is very relevant in today/tomorrow's world.

Is this class part of an ongoing program?

Yes, this class is part of a 4 week program. Ideally we would like students to attend all 4 classes (1 class per week ).  However, as all students work at a different pace, it is okay if we have a student join at any point throughout the 4 week program. They will still see value.

How do I know what my kids are learning?

At the end of the 4 week class, children will have the ability to show parents their game.

How many kids are there per class?

Small classes of 4 -10 kids per class.

Is this class conducted in person or online?

This class is in person instruction at our computer coding lab.

Is this just for homeschoolers?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this particular class is hosted on Thursdays from 1:15-2:45pm and is attended by homeschool friends.

Can parents stay to watch?

Accepted Answer

Yes, parents can stay to watch. However, this is a drop off class.  Parents are NOT required to stay.

I don't see any other tickets sold on this link for this class.  Will there be other children?

Yes, we have a homeschool pod, with children ages 7-10yrs who attends this class.  We are opening this enrichment class to other homeschool friends to join us. So there will always be a group of kiddos.

Do you accept charter funds?

We currently do not yet accept charter funds.  We will let you know once we are able to.
