Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture

<DIV CLASS="paragraph">Winter nutrition is harder to come by as we often rely on produce that is frozen, canned, or has traveled from a warmer climate. <BR><BR>Join us for this Homegrown Workshop where sustainability educator, <A HREF="https://www.homegrownsustainability.com/about-brooke" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Brooke Kornegay</A>, will be discussing how to easily and successfully grow microgreens, winter baby greens and herbs.  Participants will also learn how to make  kombucha and will be invited to sample all of these homegrown nutrition boosters.<BR><BR>Participants can take home a 10"x 20" tray, potting mix, and micro greens seed for additional cost.</DIV>

<DIV CLASS="paragraph">Brooke Kornegay holds a Master's of Science degree in Sustainable Systems and is certified in Permaculture Design (PDC).  After serving in the  Peace Corps (Nhkata Bay, Malawi, Africa) she spent the last decade as a sustainable agriculture educator at Appalachian State University among other organizations.</DIV>
