The laughs are coming to The Social Restaurant & Taproom when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Naples on Saturday, Sept. 21. Dario Joseph is headlining the show, and he'll be there with Steve O'Connell and host Mike Peters.
The show will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
A bout the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.
Steve O’Connell is a veteran comic, who started doing stand-up in the late ‘80s in Austin, Texas. Making his home in the Southern Tier of New York, O’Connell is a self-described classic story-teller who can tell some whoppers – fact and fiction intermingled – much to the delight of audiences all over New York and anywhere comedy lovers get together to have a good time.
Dario Joseph got his start in comedy in 2011 and worked all through New York City for four years before coming back to Rochester. Joseph has opened for Brian Posehn, Ari Shaffir, Kurt Braunholer and Iliza Shlesinger and performs anywhere he can. He was Rochester’s Funniest Person in 2014 and was a Cleveland Comedy Festival Finalist in 2016. Joseph produces shows in the Rochester area and he’s the co-host of the podcast Refined Taste with Dario and Chris. His debut album, “Rough & Final Draft,” came out in 2024.
