The laughter is coming to Binghamton when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at the Airport Inn Bar and Grill on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Zack Hammond is headlining the show and BFR is joining host Mike Peters.
The show starts at 7 p.m., but get there early to get some drinks. It's a free show, so tip the staff super well. Seating begins at 6 p.m.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.
BFR was one of the mainstays of the comedy scene in Lewisburg, Pa., before moving to Harrisburg. A musician, deejay, podcast host, BFR is built to be on stage and entertain an audience. Their debut album, “The Rock Star Album,” came out in 2023. BFR hosts Oh, Yeah, Let’s Talk About and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast with Mike Peters.
Originally from Maryland, Zack Hammond has been doing stand-up for more than a decade and has traveled all over the country while working on recording his five albums, including his latest, “... Because I’m Considerate.” He performs regularly at Wise Crackers in Scranton and has worked in New York City, Philadelphia and Baltimore and opened for Doug Stanhope. Known for his dark take on life, the world and humanity, Hammond won the 2010 NEPA Comedy Idol and NEPA Scene’s Got Talent in 2015.
