Home: Lost & Found spotlights the refugee experience through art and music. It features Unpacked: Refugee Baggage — a multi-media installation by Syrian-born artist and architect, Mohamad Hafez and Iraqi-born writer and speaker, Ahmed Badr. A short video documentary by Maher Mahmood will also be screened.

Enjoy the sounds of Arab music group, Sharq Attack, who will perform the work of composer and refugee, Hugo Kauder.

A panel with the artists, moderated by Chris George, Executive Director of IRIS, will discuss how the refugee experience is expressed through creative outlets, enriches the cultures of new home countries, and inspires activism.
