This program covers home gardening in all parts of the state of Nevada! The Home Horticulture Certificate Program was developed by the University of Nevada, Reno Extension Horticulture team from around the state to provide basic horticulture education to homeowners, educators, and anyone interested in learning more about the Nevada landscapes, plants, and more. Topics address information on gardening specific to Southern Nevada, Northern Nevada, and rural counties.
The program is completely online through the University of Nevada, Reno Extension. The program includes pre-recorded lectures, reading, homework, and live Q & A sessions every Thursday from 12 - 1 p.m. with horticulture professionals.
PAYMENT:
Checks made payable to "Board of Regents". Credit card payments accepted in-person at Washoe, Douglas, Elko, and Clark (Las Vegas) offices.
Pay online with a credit card on Eventbrite ($275 + Eventbrite fees).
Home Horticulture Certificate Program website

**A nonrefundable administrative fee of 25% of the total registration fee will be assessed for participant-initiated refunds before the start of the class. The class is nonrefundable after materials have been shared. Eventbrite processing fees are nonrefundable.

It is highly encouraged to attend all live Q & A sessions. However, if you are unable to attend some of the sessions, they are all recorded. Recordings are sent out the following Friday at 2pm via email. Live Q & A sessions are where class updates are shared. It is very important to watch them.
