  • 5:30 – 6 PM: Arrival & dinner (provided)
  • 6 – 7:30 PM: Class

👥 Who: Homeowners in the Madison area ready to plan for electrifying their home.

📍 Where: StartingBlock Madison (821 E Washington Ave, Madison, WI).

💲Cost: $60

Over four evening classes, you’ll build community with other home sustainability enthusiasts and learn from an experienced Madison Gas and Electric engineer how to:

  • Understand your home’s energy performance
  • Boost efficiency and comfort, and reduce your home’s carbon footprint
  • Plan for home electrification including obtaining contractor quotes
  • Navigate state and federal rebates and incentives associated with upgrades

Participants will be supported during courses and through take-home exercises to create a personalized roadmap for upgrades. By the end of the courses, you will have a tailored plan for upgrades, a corresponding project budget, and potential contractors ready to start work.

Please enter the building through the breezeway / main entrance (it’s on the SW side). Registering here gets you on our guest list, please bring a photo ID for possible front door confirmation with security.

Parking

Paid parking is available in the South Livingston Parking Garage attached to the Arts + Literature Lab building. 111 S Livingston St, Madison, WI 53703. Free street parking is generally available nearby.

The Spark Building is accessible via bus routes A and B.
