<h2>Join us at the Internet Archive for a day of building  P2P Apps with our scaffolding tools that make it easy to make &#x27;em without having high level dev skills. </h2><h2></h2><h2>W﻿e&#x27;ll be able to actually demo things at the end of the day!!!</h2><p></p><h3>Schedule</h3><p><strong>This Friday</strong></p><p>9:30 – 10:30: Welcome, Intros, Context, and Getting started</p><p>10:30 – 12:30: Breakouts into project groups to start making things and groups to explore Holochain and how it works</p><p>12:30 – 14:00: Lunch</p><p>1﻿4:00 - 17:00: Making Apps and other projects (all skills and abilities welome)</p><p>1﻿7:00 - 18:30: Show and Tell and Closing</p><p>1﻿8:30 - 19:12: Runover time because people are having fun and making all these great connections</p><p>1﻿9:12 - 21:36: Completely unplanned informal dinner because &quot;so what&#x27;s everyone doing for dinner&quot; : )</p><p></p><h3>Who it’s for</h3><p>We welcome individuals and teams who are exploring and building the projects and infrastructure of a distributed web3.***</p><p>We  welcome people who want and need these kinds of technologies and might not be technically building them.</p><p>We welcome partners and kids.</p><p>Our hackathons have a diverse attendance that consist of:</p><p>- Developers</p><p>- Entrepreneurs</p><p>- Project owners</p><p>- Regenerative folks</p><p>- Network architects</p><p>- Pragmatic Activists</p><p>- Social Entrepreneurs</p><p>- Artists, Designers, Writers</p><p></p><h3>***P﻿rep:</h3><p><a href="https://discord.gg/7zBYfPZ5" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">P﻿lease join the Holochain Developer Discord</a> and set up your dev environment before coming! It takes a while for everything to load up, so it&#x27;s much better to do this in advance!</p><h3></h3><h3>How it works</h3><p>Everyone has the opportunity to learn by doing at our events. </p><p>Whether you come with an idea, project, or team – doesn’t matter.</p><p>The event will be coordinated in semi-open-space. It will happen in scheduled as well as emergent sessions, (self)organized in accord with Agile principles.</p><p></p><h3>Experience</h3><p>We want to build a more humane internet with greater individual sovereignty and collective intelligence. We do our best to design our events  to reflect that intention. Holochain Hackathons are focused on growing and building knowledge, apps, and community in a collaborative, agent-centric context. We’ll organize and schedule sessions as and when needed so that we spend more time learning by doing and less time in back to back classes. We provide healthy(ish) food, encourage breaks, and have reasonable start and end times so that participants leave the event feeling well. We provide projects to jump in on and a lean process for participants to form projects and teams around things they’re passionate about.</p><p></p><h3>Cost</h3><p>$25 </p><p>This is a non-profit, community run event. Registration fees go towards covering the cost of the food and materials.
