Holman Street Baptist Church of Houston, Texas is a Progressive Church with an aggressive ministry, which extends throughout the world. The central thrust and focus of the Holman Street ministry is dedicated to executing the commandments and commissions of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The basis for this thrust and focus is derived from The Great Commission given to all Christian disciples in the gospel of Matthew 28:19, 20 which says “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the world. Amen.”
