What can I expect?

Imagine a church service stripped down to its raw components: song,  readings, sermon, shared group ritual... and then organized around a theme or motif from Nature. If you can picture this, you have a sense for what you'll find in a Holisma event!

Is this like church?

Accepted Answer

It IS NOT like church in that dogma has no place. Ideas and participants are asked to be in flow, aware, and autonomous. Participation is not obligated for any part.

It IS like church in that it provides people with an experience of beauty, transcendence, communion, and belonging.

Question 3

Do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

Please bring yourself. Also recommended are a pen & notebook, comfy clothes, and an open mind.

After the ceremony ends at 6, there will be optional tea and snacks. Please bring a food offering for the group, if you are able.

What does this cost?

Accepted Answer

Each event is offered by donation. Suggested donation is $22 per event. None turned away.
