About this event

The first half of the day will be a review of basic HIV transmission and prevention education, best practices for persons living with HIV and substance use disorders, and current statistics and trends in the state of NC. The second half of the day will be an in depth discussion about LGBTQIA identities, best practices for members of this community with substance use disorders and overall ethical practices in regards to providing counseling services to members of this community.
