The conference consists of poster and oral presentations selected for their contributions to the spectroscopic databases, such as HITRAN, HITEMP, and to relevant user applications.

Topics Include:

• Current status and evolution of the molecular spectroscopic database

• Database archiving, access, and methodology

• Atmospheric measurements and observations

• New trends in atmospheric spectroscopy techniques and gas analysis

• Relevant new spectroscopic data and their analysis

• Spectroscopy of planetary atmospheres

To submit an abstract for a poster or oral presentation, please refer to the guidelines on the HITRAN website. A list of confirmed invited speakers is also provided on the HITRAN website.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in the cost of registration?

The registration fee includes attendance to the HITRAN conference on Monday 24, Tuesday 25, and Wednesday 26 June 2024. Attendees will be provided lunch, coffee breaks and refreshments at poster sessions on the days of the conference. A banquet ticket for the attendee on June 25 is also included.

Where will the conference take place?

The HITRAN conference 2024 will take place at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian at 60 Garden Street, Cambridge MA. Signs will direct attendees to the conference room (Phillips auditorium).

When will be the conference banquet happen?

The conference banquet will be on the evening of Tuesday 25th June at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian at 60 Garden Street, Cambridge MA
