Chandler Airport Manager Ryan Reeves will talk about the history of aviation in Chandler from the early roots of a rural airport established in 1928 to the modern story of one of the busiest municipal airports in the nation today.

Learn about the airport’s many uses over the years from crop dusting operations and bringing in guests to the San Marcos Hotel, to today’s active center for flight training, aviation business, and recreational flying.

Chandler Airport has played an important role in Chandler’s development as it has supported the growth and modernization of the community.
