The Nakba was the violent displacement and dispossession of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in 1948. During the Nakba, Zionist forces carried out a program of societal, cultural, and political erasure of Palestinians to pave way for their nation building aspirations. This lecture will go in to the details of important events that occurred during the first major dispossession in Palestinian history.
