Join MRI Programs for the Hip Hop on Howard Youth Summer Camp, a unique opportunity for your child to immerse themselves in the worlds of hip-hop, dance, and media! Designed exclusively for Baltimore City Public School students from 6th to 12th grade, this enriching camp offers a comprehensive exploration of creativity and industry insights.

Activities Include:

  • Industry Tours: Students will explore local radio stations, studios, and creative spaces alongside industry professionals. Last year's students enjoyed tours of DTLR Radio, WEAA, and Bird's Eye Studio.
  • Hands-On Workshops: Students will participate in immersive workshops for beat-making, dance, and media projects, honing essential skills under expert guidance.
  • Collaborative Projects: By the end of the camp, they will have collaborated with their peers to create projects in their chosen track.

Two Sessions Available

  • Session 1: July 8 - 26, M-F, 9 am - 2 pm
  • Session 2: July 29 - August 9, M-F, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
  • Eligibility: Free admission is available to all eligible Baltimore City Public School students.
