Our experienced and talented instructors will guide you through various hip-hop dance styles, teaching you the latest moves, choreographies and helping you improve your dance skills.

Whether you're a beginner or have some dance experience, these classes are open to all levels. So, grab your friends and come join us for a fun-filled dance class that will leave you feeling confident, grooving and popping to the most popular tunes!

Where is the studio located?

The Motion Arts Center is located at 217 S Claremont St in the heart of Downton San Mateo within walking distance of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, a movie theater.

Where can I park my car?

There is FREE On-Street Parking After 6pm and in all city-owned parking facilities everyday after 6pm and all day Sundays and on city-designated holidays. The New Kiku Parking Garage with 526 spaces is located at 400 E. 5th Avenue in San Mateo(you can park there and walk two blocks to the studio).

What do you teach in the Beginner Level class?

In our Beginner-Friendly class you will learn the foundations and techniques of Hip-Hop dance. This class will introduce you to Hip-Hop party moves and top rocking to help kick off your dance journey. All levels are welcome, no experience necessary!

What do you teach in the Intermediate Level class?

The Intermediate level class is choreography based and we will focus towards improving your overall movement quality, fluidity, creative choices throughout class. This class will also help push you out of your comfort zone and expand your dance vocabulary!
