What’s the plan?

11:00 AM – meeting at the Vilnius railway station (outside the central entrance): https://maps.app.goo.gl/ffxtGDwiESVCNzg56
(If you want to go by car - meet our group here around 11:50: https://maps.app.goo.gl/QWC1nJ4KtKg3mmMEA)

11:20 – we hop on a train to Lazdenai station.

11:47 – reach Lazdenai and start the hike:

We go through the fields and then go deeper to a nice green forest, reaching the lake and going by the high bank of Neris river, where we stop to enjoy a breathtaking view. Having another short walk through the woods and passing a small bridge upon the narrow river Bražuolė, we will stop for a short lunch break enjoying food and getting acquainted with each other.

Next stop will be by the same river, at the beavers’ spot, where they “chop” the trees, building a dam. Further we will have a stop near pines, where you will listen to a short story of how people got the pine juice (resin) back in a days. Few more kilometers and we reach a campsite, where we can stay for a while before the train departure.

17:33 – we go back to Vilnius by train.

18:06 – arrival to Vilnius railway station and saying goodbye to everyone.
