Join us for a fun and educational hike with one of our knowledgeable botanists to learn about the diverse plant life on the east side of Mt. Hood. This guided hike will take place on the Dog River Trail. Get ready to explore the beautiful flora of the area while gaining valuable knowledge about plant identification from an experienced specialist. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with nature and learn something new!

We will meet at the Dog River Trailhead on OR-35. The trail is moderately challenging, with a mostly level surface, some rocky segments, and about 600 feet of elevation gain for this outing. We will hike about 4 miles round-trip. No fees are required at the Dog River Trailhead.
