Have you hiked ALL of Allerton’s 16+ miles of trails? To encourage you to pursue this great accomplishment, a new program has been established: HIKE ALLerton Trails.
Sign up online by Wednesday, May 1 and make a commitment to hike all nine of the trails at the Park by the end of the year. Registrants will earn a Hike ALLerton Trails T-shirt with the completion of all their hikes.*
After you register, you will receive an email with instructions on how to show “proof of hike” from each trail. Photos can then be submitted in person at the Visitor Center between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, or by emailing them to Sarah Putman at sputman2@illinois.edu.
Don’t want to hike alone? No problem! The program is open to all ages. Sign up with your kids, grandparents, neighbors or friends (leashed pets are also allowed, but cannot earn T-shirts).
