Hija de Nada Trunk Show at Production Mode

Join us for a trunk show featuring the latest collection of handloomed knits and hand woven and blocked hats from Hija de Nada at Production Mode! Designer Kari Alvarado Hoff (Zürich, Switzerland/Harvard, IL) will be in the shop to help you find the perfect piece and to learn more about her process.

In addition to HdN Originals, Hija de Nada will also be offering select headwear services. If you have a hat that needs cleaning, stretching, reshaping, bring it with you!

Onsite

Surface cleaning/steaming: $45+

Brim shaping: $35+

Sanding/distressing: $25+

Waterproof (surface treatment): $25

Addition/replacement of chin strap (this can include adding holes/grommets to headwear): $35-$45

In-studio/shipped back to client

Deep cleaning/steaming: $95+

Full reblock/cleaning: Starts at $150

Production Mode

Produc­tion Mode is a slow fashion brand, founded in 2015 as an alternative to the traditional fashion system, and is designed in Chicago by Jamie Hayes. Each collec­tion begins with an artist collab­o­ra­tion to produce custom materials, and all pieces are cut and sewn in Chicago. We opened our first boutique in September 2023, offering ready-to-wear, made-to-measure, and custom design services. We also carries a selection of other independent designers and metalsmiths, most of them based in Chicago. PM has been featured in Paper Magazine, Elle, and on the cover of Billboard Magazine.
