HIGHLY MELANATED is a QUEER BLACK EXCLUSIVE EVENT.This is a call to all you queer and/or trans Black beauties! Obsidian leadership Smoky (she/her) and Sunshine (they/them) will be guiding you through an evening where we get to worship the wonders of our Black bodies!As this event is for the HIGHLY MELANATED we ask that white-passing people do NOT attend. We also ask that cismen do NOT attend.Saturday, August 22nd, 8-10pm PSTWe will also have performances throughout the night!Tickets are sliding scale $5-$15. Please reach out if you are experiencing financial hardship. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.ALLIES - if you would like to purchase tickets FOR queer Black attendees, PayPal us at obsidianqpoc@gmail.com or email us for other payment options.CODE OF CONDUCT:-YOU MUST BE QUEER AND BLACK TO ATTEND.-NO CISMEN-ABSOLUTELY NO ALLIES ALLOWED - you will be kicked out IMMEDIATELY-HONOR THE COMMUNITY-TRANSPARENCY/ DIGITAL SECURITY CONCERNS1) Keep in mind that Zoom is not a well-encrypted platform.2) If you are not respecting the community during the event, expect to hear immediately from a member of the Obsidian team who will be acting as vigilant bouncers throughout the event.
