Discover the joys of growing your own food with a guided tour of two local “teaching” farms and learn more about keeping chickens, raising goats, building greenhouses and growing herbs, vegetables and fruits.

This is a great introductory tour for gardening enthusiasts and homesteaders — or just local food lovers — who want to learn more about sowing, growing, raising, harvesting and producing the food we enjoy. Tickets limited.

The tour includes luxury transportation and a behind-the-scenes tour of popular homesteads. The tour concludes at a local cidery, where guests will enjoy a guided tasting of locally made ciders.

What is your weather policy?

Our tours are held rain or shine. If lightening is present, or is a possibility, we will have to cancel the tour. In that event, we will notify all guests by 8:00 AM on the day of the tour and issue a full refund.

What is your cancellation policy?

All sales are final. However, if you contact us at least 72 hours in advance of the event and request a cancellation, we will try to resell your tickets. If we are successful in reselling your tickets, we will issue you a refund worth 75% of the ticket price.

Do you offer food on the tour?

All guests will be given a canvas tote bag with a bottle of water and an assortment of snacks (usually a piece of covered fruit, pretzels, nuts and chocolate).
