About this event
dr chocolate pudding makes music for those movie moments in your life
Comedian Mat Dann, an LA based comic. He produces and headlines ILL-PREPARED at the world-famous Hollywood Improv, Warp Speed at Soho House West Hollywood and is co-starring in upcoming Hulu series MORE, MORE, MORE, the Chippendales story.
Pablo Perez, a multi-disciplinary artist, and sound explorer has been a prolific presence in the Los Angeles experimental community. He has performed at venues such as The Getty Museum, Coaxial Arts, Sound Pedro Sound Art Festival, Handbag Noise Festival, Noise Blast, and more.
“I recontextualize sound. These pieces originate from field recording, synthesis, audio samples, and broken machines. I explore new potentials by constructing them into compositional pieces using manipulation techniques such as granular synthesis, frequency modulation, and various voltage-controlled manipulations. All pieces are composed in real-time and are intentionally ephemeral in nature to drive a unique experience and communion between the performance and audience”
