About this event

  • 7 hours

Take your advocacy work to the next level with this comprehensive six-hour virtual training on integrating high-impact storytelling into your presentations. Going back to the roots of the original Recovery Storytelling workshop focused on storytelling for social change, participants will work on crafting a three-minute story on the topic of their choice while learning the key elements of engaging stories that strike a deep chord and have universal appeal. Leverage your own experience to move people to act on the issues you care about by reaching not just their minds, but their hearts as well. This training is especially effective for those working with stigmatized issues like substance use and mental health challenges, incarceration, trauma, being unhoused, and military service.

If you're looking to significantly deepen your impact on the issues you care about by harnessing the universal power of good storytelling, this training is for you!
