Women booked to have their baby at Watford General, Princess Alexandra and Lister Hospitals.
Whether you are planning a vaginal delivery or Caesarean section, you can attend.
About this event
This session will include:
- What is the pelvic floor
- The effects pregnancy and childbirth have on it
- Things to look out for
- How to strengthen your pelvic floor
- Caring for your bladder and bowels
- Perineal tear prevention techniques
- Caring for yourself after delivery
When to attend:
We recommend you attend as early in your pregnancy as possible to get the most benefit.
Registration:
- We will ask for some background information from you for auditing purposes (age, due date, ethnicity, borough of residency)
- A Teams meeting ID will be shared via the event page
The session:
- Participants will be asked to mute their microphones for the main session
- There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the session and via the chat function
- Having your camera on is not required
