herScript is a non official club in the Salinas Valley focused on preparing women for the field of Computer Science. We are affiliated with CSU Monterey Bay, andare committed to being confident, educated, motivated, elegant, and passionate women in technology. herScript

Come join herScript for a chance to create an app using MIT's App Inventor, and learn what it takes to complete the app development process from idea to deployment in just one day! You will be competing against other teams to create the best app for the hackathon's theme, which will be revealed on the day of the event. Different prizes will be rewarded for each of the three categories that fit within the theme. Each team will be partnered with a mentor from the club, and will be coached throughout the entire process. 
You must provide your own transportation to and from the event. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the day. All equipment, such as laptops and testing phones, will be provided for you; however, you may bring your own laptop if that works best for you. 
Each person must sign up as either an individual or within a group of 4. Admission is free!
