Founded in 1989, Miami Light Project is a not-for-profit cultural organization which presents live performances by innovative dance, music and theater artists from around the world; supports the development of new work by South Florida-based artists; and offers educational programs for students of every age.

Miami Light Project’s signature commission program for Miami-based artists, Here &amp; Now, features newly commissioned short-form work from Miami’s freshest and most exciting emerging and mid-career artists, working across disciplines to define contemporary performance in Miami. This year’s commissioned artists include Jenna Balfe, Cecilia Benitez and Stephanie Perez, Symone Titania Major, Alejandro Rodriguez, and Randolph Ward. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Tips for attending:What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?There is ample street parking along NW 26th Street and 5th Avenue and a Parking Garage across the street from The Light Box. Please make sure you observe all meters, No Parking Zones and hydrants - those are enforced at all times!Who can I contact with questions?Please feel free to email our Box Office at terrence@miamilightproject.com. How long is the performance?The show is about 2 hours, so make sure you put enough money in the meter. May I take pictures? Still and video photography is NOT allowed. We recommend that you enjoy living in the moment- witness the art as it unfolds- not through your camera screen! May I bring a friend? Absolutely- but buy tickets in advance! Purchase your tickets online because we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available at the door!Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?No, you do not have to print your ticket just have your ID with you at Will Call. What is the refund policy?No refunds.
