Make plans to join us for this community-making, celebratory concert event at the Butterfly Bar!For our journey, we’ve gathered all your local indie-classical favorites: Invoke, Montopolis, Kraken Quartet, Density512, Golden Hornet, LOLA, One Ounce Opera, Convergence, Goliath Was Bigfoot, Tom Echols, Less Than &lt;10 Music, Nathan Felix, VAMP, Studio A, and – the folks who chartered this ship – Tetractys New Music.Julie Fiore, Collaborating Producer for HERE BE MONSTERS, wants you to immerse yourself in the music and the experience. “You can choose your own adventure,” she explains, “We’re taking over the entire Butterfly Bar space – inside and outside – with rotating performances on several stages, like a mini-festival.” Each group will fill a fifteen-minute slot and be scheduled throughout a five-ish-hour program.The Butterfly Bar will be slinging their dynamic slate of cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine, and Patrizi’s will be open if you’d like to add a fine Italian meal to your enjoyment of the music.“We’ve discovered that, for those outside of Austin, there isn’t much knowledge of the strong new music ecosystem that exists here,” says Tetractys co-director Michael Zapruder. “We’re asking, ‘What is our identity?’ We aim to answer that by uniting these groups in a single placemaking event to share with the community.”Secure your spot with $20 general admission/$10 students with ID.
