Come and learn all about the culinary herbs you can grow in your garden from the WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardener Herb growing team. Participants will learn how to propagate woody herbs like rosemary and lavender; how to grow tender herbs, like basil, cilantro, and parsley, from seed. Other topics will include what kind of soil and other conditions the popular culinary herbs need to thrive and bonus tips on how to use them in your kitchen.
Following the 45-minute workshop, attendees will be asked to provide 45 minutes of service in the demonstration garden. The event will go on rain or shine! Please dress for the weather, bring water, and plan to get a bit dirty.
