Cultivate the City is an urban farming company based in Washington DC. We manage a network of sites including restaurant gardens, corporate and municipal green spaces, school gardens, a retail garden center and a rooftop farm at Nationals Park. Are you tired of spending money on expensive teas? Interested in aroma therapy? Do you want to learn how to start your own herb garden? Or maybe you want to learn how to make inexpensive holiday gifts from you garden? Then join us at H St. Farms for an Herbology 101 class. Herbalism is the study and use of plants in preventative medicine. Herbs have been cultivated for their medicinal properties for almost over 60,000 years. They are used in both modern and traditional medicine. These small but powerful plants are easy to grow and are perfect for beginners. 
In the class you will learn:
