The Artemisia Academy of Herbal Arts & Healing provides community & land based herbal education for Santa Barbara and the Southern California region.  Artemisia Academy currently offers herb walks about uses of local & native plants, hands-on medicine making workshops, and an 150 Hour Herbal Apprentice Program, giving students who want to begin their journey as a 300 Hour Intermediate Program- the Community HerbalistProgram a place to get there feet wet with a comprehensive introductory course to Herbalism & Holistic Healing.Artemisia Academy was formed from the dream that my healing journey could help other practitioners find their path and become HEALED healers, with healthy boundaries, clear expectations, and a strong emphasis that helping others should not come at your own bodies expense.  We hope to create not only another generation of incredible herbalists, but also successful entrepreneurs, that create passionately fulfilling & purposeful lives that inspire others to find their path and purpose as well.

All you need are comfortable clothing to be outside (hat, sweatshirt, be prepared for any kind of fall season weather).Can I bring my kids?Absolutely! Kids can come free of charge with a supervising adult who is registered for the class. Supplies will only be given to those who register.
