The island of Kythera was once home to Juliette de Bairacli Levy (1912-2009), a well-known herbalist, traveler, and writer who influenced herbalists around the world. As she documented in her many books, including Common Herbs for Natural Health, Traveler’s Joy, The Illustrated Herbal Handbook for Everyone, and The Complete Herbal Handbook for Farm and Stable, Juliette immersed herself in a truly natural lifestyle to intimately experience the wisdom of plants.

This 5-day herbal medicine tour will honor Juliette’s memory and bring together people who wish to learn more about her herbal journey and inspirational life.

The itinerary will include: daily herbal medicine activities with local artisans; touring beautiful sites and beaches; a special pilgrimage to the cottage where Juliette once lived; and a closing circle to honor Juliette’s influence on herbalists around the world
