You are invited to Urban Growers Collective for a fun and informative class that explores the practices of traditional herbal medicine making. Just like we learned from the tin man in Oz, oiling can support fluid, joyful movement and soothe the nervous system. Infused oils have the healing benefits of the herbs, as well as the moisturizing benefits of the base oil. In this class we will make an infused oil; talk about cultural roots of body oiling and see a demonstration of how an infused oil can become a salve.

Please plan to arrive ten minutes early to check-in at the Welcome Table visible from the entrance before heading onto the farm to join the tour. A UGC representative will greet you at the Welcome Table.
