Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn the art of stained glass. I will guide you step by step in creating your very own beautiful stained glass piece.
During the class, you will learn the techniques of cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering glass. You will also patina and polish your glasswork. I provide all the materials. Wear closed toe shoes and we will require you to use eye protection. We do NOT use kits. You'll also have the opportunity to choose from a variety of vibrant colored glass to bring your creation to life.
Not only will you leave with a stunning piece of artwork, but you'll also take home the knowledge and skills to continue creating stained glass masterpieces on your own. It's a fantastic way to express your creativity and unwind in a friendly and supportive environment.
Wear closed toed shoes! Dropped glass can do damage. Be prepared, you will get wet (just a little) while grinding your glass. You will be required to wear safety glasses while cutting and grinding your glass because of the risk of eye damage from glass shards. (NO Exceptions) and don't wear your best clothes to class. There is a risk of cutting yourself while working with glass. This is why I will only allow people 18 and older to attend. There will be a disclaimer you will need to sign before starting this class stating you are aware of the risks of making stained glass. The legal stuff. Beyond all that we will have fun!

We have street parking AND a lot available behind the store that is handicap accessable.
Can I bring food and drink to class?
Remember we are working with glass so bring things in a covered container. Or visit places around us. Across the street is McAllister's restaurant & Coffee at Britton's. The lucky spot is around the corner and The Famous Hot Weiner is down the street. Oak is open for dinner only.
Can you make an exception for age?
No , Sorry our insurance does not allow it.
