Antoinette Thompson, MS, CCC-SLP and doctoral student, is a managing member of Speech Kids Fun LLC. Antoinette Thompson is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association – ASHA. Services that Antoinette Thompson offers include direct speech-language therapy services for children, speech and language screenings, formal evaluations, and consulting with family members. Services also include consultations with school administrators and advising sessions. Antoinette is familiar with many documentation systems including Embrace, SIRAS and SEIS. Antoinette participates in ongoing continuing education courses and is familiar with evidence-based therapy methods, topics, and intervention methods. Antoinette was presented with the Award for Continuing Education ACE Award by ASHA. The ACE is a formal recognition of professionals who have demonstrated their commitment to lifelong learning by earning at least 7.0 CEUs (70 contact hours) within a 36-month period. As a doctoral student, she is interested in research topics related to the role of the speech-language pathologist and literacy in children. Antoinette is married, has one precious daughter. She also has an adorable rescue pup name Mocha. He is a yorkie/chihuahua with black and brown hair. Antoinette enjoys spending time with family, traveling and walking along the lakefront.
